Savannah Parnell Knight, LCSW-S is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who cultivates hope and personal growth within her clients by the means of offering an authentic and compassionate therapeutic relationship. She is a board approved clinical supervisor for therapists in training, and is trained in EMDR, DBT, CPT, and various trauma informed attachment based modalities. She creates a safe space for clients both young and old to feel cared for, valued, and supported in their own journey towards healing. The firm belief that change is possible propels Savannah to help clients uncover and access their own unique strengths while incorporating coping skills and communication tools to help express themselves in an effective way. Through warmth, humor, and creativity Savannah assists individuals and families to not just survive, but to thrive. Savannah has always loved working with adolescents and children and is able to connect with young people in a deep, friendly, and meaningful way.

Savannah earned both her undergraduate and graduate degrees from the University of Texas at Austin’s School of Social Work. Since graduating with her Masters of Science in Social Work, she has worked with a wide array of clients in varying clinical contexts including a number of local nonprofits where she has facilitated group and individual counseling to survivors of domestic and sexual assault, offered family counseling and play therapy for children, and worked as a school based therapist in middle and high schools across the Austin area.

Savannah, a native Houstonian, has lived in Austin since 2012 and enjoys walking with her dog, cooking together with her husband, catching up with friends over coffee, admiring flowers, and laughing at herself.
